7 AUGUST 2016 GOOGLE HAS FINALLY SHUT DOWN PICASA.
I was aware of the issue but didn’t expect it to happen so abruptly. Foolish me. Google archived my photos and captions and I have got everything back up in a kind of fashion. I really liked Picasa and have never been fond of Flickr, which Yahoo could close down too.
Photo Galleries and Slideshows are temporarily available through Google photos but I still need to do more. Please respect copyright ©.
